Great place with excellent menu selections. This is fine cuisine at reasonable prices. Stop by and try it out, won't be disappointed.

Food was delicious and the chef takes great care with the presentation. The waiter was very blase and he couldn’t answer basic questions about the dishes. Also, he was a bull in a china shop, slamming dishes onto the table, throwing cutlery into a bin — it was very bizarre dining experience a la Fawlty Towers. My suggestion to the owners: find someone who’s personable with high standards in customer service. Would love to see this resto succeed!

The best culinary experience we’ve had in years! Ordered the General Tao, the Lobster Poutine and the Beef Tartare to share, all were incredible. Generous portions, amazing dishes, great service. Can’t ask for more

Had one of my best culinary experiences in years! Had no idea what to choose, since everything on the menu looked so good. Ended up asking the chef to surprise me with their favourite dishes, and let me tell you... Everything single dish was more pleasantly satisfying than the previous one. Not only were the presentations outstanding, but the flavours were just out of this world. An experience I would recommend to everyone travelling through Hudson looking to try an unforgettable restaurant. The quality, the atmosphere and the prices, can’t be matched. Looking forward to trying more of their amazing dishes on my next visit!

Hey guys ! ..... I’m mean .... where to begin! This is our second time around and we cannot say thank you enough to the entire team! If you’re looking to be mind blown with Ricardo’s cooking style .... You will be in for a treat! The FOOD is simply to delicious to be even described, flawlessly prepared, and served with an amazing look! As we say in French; “Ont mangent avec les yeux “. Be certain to not only take “one plate” but a serving of multiple tapas to taste the full menu... OMG! You will be blown away! .... Let me remind you this is our second time around and I’m pretty sure you won’t get to the end because it’s that delicious! you will want to finish those plates Every plate is a full blown discovery and experience for your taste buds... I mean I travel for living and have tasted some of the best places, let alone I cook pretty well and..... Portabella’s menu, team, and drinks.... just blew me away. Now .... Don’t get me started with the ambiance of the restaurant. A bistro style, Laid back, family oriented, fun, and composed of a passionate team of people ... The crew is just simply amazing hands down the best place I’ve been and best team to be with. Now, don’t get me wrong; I can be selling this place 100 times over but it’s is your to discover ! Definitely worth the turnaround and or even the detour !

Had an amazing experience at Portabella! The food and concept were incredible, and our group of 7 was thoroughly impressed. Everything was so delicious we barely had time to snap pictures, and we still had plenty of leftovers. The desserts were also a highlight. A special thanks to Chef Ricardo for personally coming to our table to thank us, and to Devin for the great service. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We went for lunch and ordered the vegetarian wrap and the lobster quesadilla. They were both delicious, full of flavour and very fresh. Will be back! Thank you !

My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Portabella. We especially enjoyed the small tapas style portions which allowed us to share 6 different menu items without needing to roll ourselves to the car. While pricey, it was worth every dime. For those on the fence because they need to stretch their buck in this economy, don't skip it all together, instead I'd recommend saving it for a special birthday or anniversary so that you can enjoy the wonderful dishes the chef has put together.
